Mike and Irma.  We had a nice chat and a good meal at Fat Boy's in Boyceville, Wisconsin.  Irma told me about her days as a cucumber picker.   Moments like these make the road worthwhile.

While speaking to writing students at Boyceville High School, Mike models his hunting hat, which he loves because he got it on clearance.  It is a size XXL.   Mike has a fat head.  This is the first hunting hat he has ever owned that does not cut off circulation to that area of his scalp that used to grow hair.  Mike is modeling the "flaps down" mode favored by most Nobbern folk.  The mustache is a tribute to Uncle Stan, the mustachioed trucker, but also a nod to Lemmy Kilmister, lead singer of Motorhead.  I especially favor Lemmy's sensitive ballads.
